The annual graduation season arrived on time when the intense Senior High School Entrance Examination concluded. On the afternoon of 16th June, 2018, teachers and students from Grade 9 of Anqing Foreign Language School’s Junior High Department in the west campus held an unforgettable graduation ceremony.
To start with, the commencement kicked off with a short film meticulously prepared by Anqing Foreign Language School. A great many photos and shots connected students’ countless beautiful and splendid moments over the three years. For one thing, teacher representative Zhou Mi hoped that students could continue to work hard, get fully prepared and embark on a new journey in the following senior high school life. For another, student representative Ke Han from Class 8, Grade 9 made a speech in which she expressed her thanks for teachers’ diligent teaching, meticulous care as well as her unwillingness to part with friends and classmates. Ke Han was determined to create a favorable image for Anqing Foreign Language School with her own deeds.
Moreover, Principal Assistant Ling Qian presented students with heartfelt wishes, which drew applause from time to time. He thought that nothing in the world was more magical than witnessing growth. Graduation was not only the conclusion of junior high school life, but also a journey of growth. Beginner’s mind is a kind of firmness. Childlike innocence is a kind of scenery and benevolence is a lifetime safety. During the course of pursuing and holding fast to justice, truth, kindness, bravery, wisdom and honesty, we may strive hard and never give up through our whole life. Therefore, students from Anqing Foreign Language School were supposed to pursue a more disciplined life, nourish a richer soul and cultivate a more confident and optimistic attitude. Anqing Foreign Language School shaped your spiritual appearance and you represented the ideals of Anqing Foreign Language School.
Evidently, the graduation ceremony was a summary of the past and a longing for the future. Graduates in 2018 shall leave their Alma Mater and set sail. We believe they will be able to create a better future by living up to their previous efforts and bravery.
To conclude, Anqing Foreign Language School’s President Madam Huang Wenli and Vice Principal Xu Xuchang issued graduation certificates to students. The ceremony ended with handshakes between teachers and students.
